Establishment of the company

Kelet-Trans 2000 LLC was established in 1993 by two individuals who are still owners of the company. The company was transformed into a Limited Liability Company in 1997. The share capital of the company is HUF 5 million; and its equity is HUF 830 million.

Managing director

The Managing Director of the Kelet-Trans 2000 LLC is Mr László Soltész who signs solely in the company’s name.

What we do

Kelet-Trans 2000 LLC has its headquarters in Záhony, located in the Hungarian-Ukrainian border area. Currently the company employs more than 70 people in its 3 own and 3 rented premises situated at different locations in Hungary. There are more than 20 modern lever machines and trailers that are capable of moving goods from 1.5 – 6 tons.

Kelet-Trans 2000 LLC is dealing with logistics services (transportation, shipping, storage), wood-industry related logistics, and manufacturing activities in the region of Záhony. We are constantly focusing on improving and expanding our service range in order to increase the number of our partners. We mainly deal with import transactions from the C.I.S. countries to Hungary. Our services are complex and of high quality. The main activities of the company are customs-house agent activities, takeover of railway expenses, warehouse services, packaging, and logistics and production of wood-industrial goods. Most of the transportation activities are arranged via rail but the company also owns trucks so that we can transport goods on roads as well. We also offer container services with regards to loose-cargo storage and transport.

Achievements

Kelet-Trans 2000 LLC dynamically increases its volume and income. In the early days the company dealt with a couple of thousand tons of goods while today the volume of trade can be measured in hundred-thousand tons. Approximately 50 % of the received products are some kind of chemical fertilizer. There are several traditional C.I.S.-countries-type products like wooden goods, coat, alloy materials, cement, and roofing materials. Our partners include all the main fertilizer importing companies in Hungary and several types of commercial companies.

Goals

The most important aim of Kelet-Trans 2000 LLC in the long run is to widen the range of logistical services offered in Záhony. We are focusing on existing demands of the market but because of the lack of capacity we cannot satisfy all of them. We are interested in all kinds of developments and expansion that support the creation of EU conform services. Our decision to buy shares of the Agrohimtranspack LLC also serves our efforts to reach the above mentioned goals. We are planning to support the efficient use of the Tuzsér site by introducing a new, modern logistics approach and by increasing the profit interest of the owners.
